Jetty Park at Port Canaveral (Cape Canaveral, FL)
Jetty Park is a beautiful 35-acre park and is one of the most well-known points of interest in all of Florida. Located in Cape Canaveral right on the beach, this RV Park offers guests coastal views, and miles of trails and is also one of the best launch viewing locations on the Space Coast, so there are plenty of things to see and do during your stay.
Guests can participate in a variety of activities such as surfing, kayaking, walking the beach, riding bikes on coastal trails, and watching ships as they majestically move past the jetty on their way out to sea. A bait shop and beach rental operations that include chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and kayaks are available to help you experience all the park has to offer without lugging a bunch of gear around. Jetty Park also offers a 1,200-foot paved and lighted fishing pier for all fishing enthusiasts. Additionally, there are pavilions equipped with tables and grills, so you can cook while the kids have fun on the playground.
Sonrise Palms RV Park (Cocoa, FL)
Centrally located between Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and Disney World, Sonrise Palms is just 12.5 miles west of world-famous Cocoa Beach. Complete with 83 large lots with full hook-ups. Guests of Sonrise Village RV Park also have access to a nice clubhouse with kitchen facilities, clean restrooms, laundry facilities, and a heated swimming pool that is open year-round. Enjoy short drives to beautiful beaches, golf courses, shopping, restaurants, fishing, and water activities on the Indian River Lagoon, Banana River, and St. Johns Rivers when staying at Sonrise Palms RV.
Wickham Park Campgrounds (Melbourne, FL)
The Wickham Park Campgrounds are a wonderful location for RV and tent camping on Florida’s Space Coast. This campground boasts an amazing array of amenities. The 133 campsites offer water, electricity, and sewer. There are eight picnic pavilions, an amphitheater where free movies are shown weekly food truck events and festivals are organized regularly, restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, and a dump station. In addition to two unguarded swimming lakes and a youth campground, there are trails for walking, jogging, hiking, and cycling with plenty of native wildlife to see along the way. Wickham Park offers a dog park, multiple athletic fields, and volleyball courts. Additional activities include a fishing pond, an 18-hole disc golf course, archery, horseshoes, and horseback riding trails. It’s a great place to stay with the family and is centrally located so trips to the beach, lagoon, and area attractions like the Brevard Zoo and Kennedy Space Center are short drives away!
Long Point Park & Campground (Melbourne Beach, FL)
Long Point Park & Campground is an 84.5-acre conservation area located on an actual island in the Indian River Lagoon in close proximity to the Sebastian Inlet marine ecosystems and the Atlantic Ocean. This park is perfect if you want to roll out of bed and fish first thing in the morning and try and reel in the final catch of the day. With its close proximity to the shoreline of the lagoon as well as the small fishing dock and one-lane boat ramp it’s an angler’s dream for sure. And for a real treat, this park features a habitat dedicated to protecting wildlife such as otters, bobcats, birds, and manatees. Amenities include laundry facilities, trails for hiking and biking with cycling paths, pools, playgrounds, and volleyball courts.
Crystal Lake RV Park (Mims, FL)
Located north of Titusville and within walking distance of the ocean, Crystal Lake RV Park offers full hookups on leveled RV sites. For those on a budget, this is one of the most affordable RV parks in the Space Coast area. Amenities include a full-service bathhouse, laundry, recreation hall, picnic tables, fenced-in dog park, and a swimming pool. Crystal Lake is a “low cost, no frills campground” and is clean and quiet. It meets your basic needs and is perfect for the adventurer who wants to explore all day; being so close to the interstate makes traveling to and from the campground from area attractions incredibly convenient.
Breezy Palms RV Park (Palm Bay)
Open year-round, Breezy Palms is a medium-sized RV Park located near the shores of the beautiful Indian River Lagoon. Breezy Palms is a perfect place to kick back and relax, and is conveniently located to many area attractions, which makes it ideal for an all-day outing. Amenities include a large clubhouse, business center, laundry, Wi-Fi, and a pool. Although most residents are 55+, younger guests are always welcome, and the location is great for rocket launch viewing.
Space Coast RV Resort (Rockledge, FL.)
Centrally located on the Space Coast and sitting on 22 acres of land, this campground is open year-round. Special features include super sites, full hookups, and both pull-thru and patio sites, with Lakeside tent camping also available. Space Coast RV Resort is not far from area attractions such as Turtle Creek Golf Club, The Brevard Zoo, and The Avenues Viera. If wanting to stay in, relax, or simply enjoy the resort, guest amenities include a heated swimming pool, recreation center, free e-mail computer center, beauty shop, hot showers, two laundry rooms, and planned activities.
Manatee Hammock (Titusville, FL)
Manatee Hammock is a riverside park and a quaint place to make camp when visiting Florida’s Space Coast. Surrounded by hammock pines, palms, and foliage, the shoreline overlooks Indian River Lagoon where you can fish and get a perfect view of a rocket launch. Enjoy access to a recreation hall, swimming pool, shuffleboard, and horseshoe pit all within the Campground. There are 166 RV sites with access to water, electricity, and sewer, as well as 20 campsites with water and electricity. Group tent camping is available and campers have access to hot showers and laundry facilities.
