Orlando Attractions Update — Just announced this week, Disney Springs is adding more than 30 new shops, restaurants and attractions by the summer. The new tenants at Disney Springs will begin opening in phases starting on May 15.

The 28 stores opening at Disney Springs will be part of Town Center, a promenade built in the Spanish Revival” style of architecture.
Four new eateries at Town Center will include:
D-Luxe Burger, Disney operated restaurant featuring gourmet burgers, fresh-made buns, hand-cut fries and house-made dipping sauces. The restaurant will include chicken and vegetarian burgers too.
Amorette’s Patisserie, a high-end pastry shop that makes classic and contemporary pastries, custom cakes and handcrafted hot chocolate.
Tablas Frontera, a contemporary Mexican restaurant by renowned chef Rick Bayless, who is known for his PBS show “Mexico: One Plate at a Time.”
Homecoming – Florida Kitchen and Shine Bar, a farm-to-fork restaurant inspired by the Sunshine state. The menu will include Southern fare including pimento cheese, deviled eggs, low country shrimp and grits and fried chicken.
Inspired by Florida’s waterfront towns, Disney Springs is near completion after years in the making. The waterfront entertainment district, formally known as Downtown Disney, includes four distinct neighborhoods The Landing, Marketplace, West Side and Town Center.
“Disney Springs has quickly become a favorite destination for our guests and they are going to love what’s to come,” said George A. Kalogridis, president Walt Disney World Resort on the Disney Parks blog.
When Disney Springs is complete, it will eventually include more than 150 shops, restaurants and attractions.
