SeaWorld Orlando have finally released new photographs of construction on the theme park’s raft ride that is scheduled to open sometime this summer. In the last few days construction cranes finished installing the landmark tower for the much anticipated Infinity Falls raft ride.
“The whimsical tower structure, blending modern architecture with ancient ruins, reaches a height of 67 feet and surrounds the attractions unique vertical lift,” the company said in a press release. “The 41-ton steel tower, made up of 10 pre-fabricated segments, took crews five nights to install. When it opens, Infinity Falls will feature the world’s tallest drop on a river raft ride.”
The 5-minute-long ride’s highlights will take passengers up a steep waterfall and then down a dramatic 40-foot plunge – we can’t wait!
SeaWorld did not provide an opening date for Infinity Falls on Wednesday. An announcement will be made in the next few weeks, the press release said.
