First Ever SeaWorld Rescue Run

The first-ever SeaWorld Rescue Run will take place January 25th at the popular Orlando theme park. The newly  announced  three mile long race is for a very good cause. Money raised benefits the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund, which lends support to marine conservation projects.

All the participants in the SeaWorld Rescue Run can enjoy views throughout the park as they run, jog or walk by animal exhibits before crossing the finish line at Shamu Stadium — where guests will be greeted by characters before getting to see the actual show.

In addition to the SeaWorld Rescue Run here will also be a kids fun run, which will take place inside Shamu Stadium – that way no-one can take a wrong turn!

Runners will receive a finisher’s medal, shirt, water bottle, free parking, food and refreshments, while kids will all get a finisher’s medal.

The SeaWorld Rescue Run  costs $50 through Nov. 15, $55 Nov. 16-Dec. 31, $60 Jan. 1-24 and $65 on race day. The kids fun run is $10 through Jan. 24 and $15 on race day. For spectators who wish to watch the Orca presentation, it costs $15 through Jan. 24 and $20 on race day.
