Complimentary MagicBands
MagicBands are secure all-in-one devices that allow you to effortlessly access the plans and holiday choices that you’ve made through your My Disney Experience. MagicBands are waterproof, wearable wristbands that work in tandem with sensors around Disney property called touch points.
Use your MagicBand to:
- Access your Disney Resort hotel room.
- Enter theme and water parks (with valid admission).
- Check in at FastPass+ entrances.
- Connect Disney PhotoPass images to your account.
- Charge food and merchandise purchases to your Disney Resort hotel room (only available during your hotel stay).
- Unlocking special surprises, personalised just for you, throughout the Walt Disney World Resort!
How to Get a MagicBand
You will automatically receive a MagicBand if you stay at a Disney Resort hotel.
Once your MagicBands have been linked to your My Disney Experience account, they are ready to be used upon your arrival in to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel.
MagicBands cannot be shipped to all countries including the UK.
Customise Your MagicBand
You can personalise your MagicBand, by making it more colourful and stylish than ever. Choose a different colour for each member of your family there are 8 solid colours—pink, green, red, purple, orange, yellow, blue and grey—or why not get matching bands for the whole group!
Disney Resort Hotel Guests can personalise their MagicBand order by taking the following steps—at least 11 days before their arrival at Walt Disney World Resort:
Create or sign into your Disney account.
Link your reservation to your Disney account. Your pass will have been linked automatically when you made your Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation.
Extra Magic Hours
Only guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel, Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel or the Shades of Green® Resort can enjoy extra time in the parks before they open and after they close!
Extra Magic Hours means one thing – more time in the parks!
Extra Magic Hours offer a rare and unique opportunity to enjoy additional time in Walt Disney World parks – above and beyond the standard operating schedule – at no extra charge. Each day, select attractions at one of the 4 Disney World theme parks are open one hour early or remain open 2 hours after the regular closing time. Additionally, Disney Water Parks offer Extra Magic Hours during select times of year.
Extra Magic Hours help you beat the crowds and long lines, board some of the most popular attractions more quickly and experience more time in the Disney parks.
How It Works:
To take advantage of extended park hours, simply visit the designated park at the designated time. Upon check-in at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, Guests will receive a schedule detailing when each park offers Extra Magic Hours, so you can be sure to plan your stay accordingly. Valid MagicBands or theme park ticket are required for entry to the designated park.

How it works
- Your meal entitlements are loaded onto your MagicBand
- Touch your MagicBand to the magic point when purchasing snacks or meals
- Your server will give you a receipt showing your updated meal balance
- Want to eat light one day and splurge the next? No problem – you can redeem multiple meals or snacks as you like until your total number of meal and snack entitlements has been used up

Choose from up to 100 dining venues across the whole Walt Disney World Resort; from fine dining to meals with Mickey, there’s something for everyone! Lots of dietary requirements are catered for, and you’re not restricted to your Disney Resort Hotel – dine in other Resort Hotels, all six Parks, Disney’s BoardWalk and Disney Springs. Tasty!
A Disney Dining Plan must be selected for all members of the party travelling aged 3 and over (at time of visit). Children aged 3–9 (at time of visit) must order from children’s menu where available. Waiter service gratuities not included; an optional 18% tip will be added to your bill.
What kind of meals are included?
Self-Service
Self Service restaurants offer a wide variety of food for breakfast, lunch or dinner, from soups, sandwiches and salads to pastas, fish, chicken and more. At Self Service locations, guests order at a counter or register—a Self Service meal entitlement includes one main and one non-alcoholic drink.
Waiter Service
At Waiter Service restaurants, guests are escorted to their table and waited on personally. There are a wide variety of Waiter Service restaurants, from casual family venues, to Character Dining* and Dinner Shows, to the unparalleled cuisine at the more upscale Signature Restaurants. Waiter Service meal entitlements include one main, one dessert (lunch and dinner only), and one non-alcoholic drink. Advanced reservations are strongly recommended, and gratuities are not included.
Fairytale Dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table, as well as Dinner Shows and Signature Dining restaurants require two Waiter Service meal entitlements per person dining.
Snacks
Snacks are available at Self Service restaurants, most outdoor food carts and selected merchandise locations. Snacks include a number of choices, from healthy choices to frozen treats and desserts—the range of options includes soft drinks, water bottles, fresh fruit, ice cream, pastries, fresh popcorn and much more.

With this special benefit of staying at select Disney Resort hotels, you’ll get from the airport to your hotel in comfort and have your bags delivered directly to your room. You can also enjoy a complimentary return to Orlando International Airport on the day you check out of your Disney Resort hotel.

If you wish to access complimentary Wi-Fi, you’ll need to select the Walt Disney World Resort network from a Wi-Fi enabled device. Then, you’ll be able to browse the Internet, read email, access instant messaging, share memories from your vacation and use the My Disney Experience app to make the most of your stay at Walt Disney World Resorts!
