Planet Hollywood Disney Springs recently had a homecoming for one of their own. Former employee Michael Cuellari, whose ring-name is QT Marshall, was in the house to donate a pair of his wrestling boots to Planet Hollywood’s memorabilia collection.
The Planet Hollywood Connection
Famed AEW (All Elite Wrestling) star, QT Marshall donated his autographed boots worn during the iconic AEW ALL OUT pay-per-view event in September 2021. The boots were presented to the restaurant and put on display during a presentation ceremony on December 2, 2021. Marshall was in attendance, sharing remarks about how personal this donation was to him as he worked at the famed restaurant for many years before starting his professional wrestling career. From 2006 to 2014 he worked as a server and bartender, then quickly grew to become a corporate trainer for the brand, and then was promoted to restaurant supervisor.
Celebrating with Family and Friends
QT Marshall was surrounded by his family and friend for the event. In addition to his wife, Carolyn Fazio-Cuellari, and his mother, Marshall was joined by fellow wrestlers Nick Comoroto, Anthony Ogogo, and Aaron Solo.
Marshall said about his time at Planet Hollywood, “…I learned a lot about life and created relationships that will last forever. Being honored this week with those that are closest to me (my wife, my mom, stepfather, and …some of my closest friends) was truly special and I’ll remember it for the rest of my life.”
A Dream Come True
Marshall made his AEW debut in October 2019. He is the leader of the notorious faction “The Factory” at AEW and can be seen on “AEW: DYNAMITE” and “AEW: RAMPAGE” on Wednesdays and Fridays on TNT. Beyond his role in the ring, Marshall serves as AEW’s Director of Creative Coordination, closely supporting elements of every live show with the executive leadership and operations teams. Recently, Marshall had a recurring role on the hit TNT reality series, “Rhodes to the Top.”
Thanks to QT for Celebrating with Us!
Marshall is also an owner and coach for the Nightmare Factory, a world-class pro wrestling training facility in the Atlanta area dedicated to the development of the next generation of wrestlers. “The Wrestler: A Q.T. Marshall Story,” a documentary featuring Marshall, won the prestigious Best Documentary Award at the 2017 San Diego Comic Con Film Festival.
We are so happy that QT chose to celebrate his accomplishments with us at Planet Hollywood Disney Springs. You can stop by and take your photo with his boots during open hours.
