I hope you have been enjoying my top tips in the parks over the last couple of weeks! This week I am here to Let me showcase what Orlando has to offer if you fancy a day outside of the big parks to something different! I’m here telling you my favourite spots for an afternoon out, shopping and some of the best dinner shows around. You’ll want to save this one for future reference 😉! Let’s start with some fun for the little people… Especially those Peppa Pig fans in our lives!
Legoland Florida brings a exciting day out and depending on the interests of your children could come out as favourite part of the holiday beating the big parks! The BIGGEST Legoland that has ever been built showcasing more than 50 rides and shows! Build memories that last a lifetime. Set sail on the new Pirate River Quest, a 20 minute adventure taking you on to the water to retrieve the lost treasure.
Take a stroll from Legoland over to the world’s FIRST Peppa Pig theme park! Splash in the muddy puddles with Peppa and George on the great muddy splash pad or sail off to Pirate Island with Grandad Dog – an oinktastic afternoon!
If you want to do both in one day we have the perfect ticket allowing you access to both parks for one day and the price does not disappoint! Another perk to the Legoland resort – Legoland has it’s own waterpark! Build the fun with the multiple attractions it has to offer. You will be sure to find me building my raft to float along the lazy river! But I’m sure those little one’s who are far more active will be loving the interactive play structures featuring Duplo Safari!

ICON PARK!
How can you go to Orlando without seeing it from the sky? Icon park will fulfil that for you take in the view from 400 feet on the great wheel! The almighty ferris wheel has pods which are air conditioned, a perfect relax in the Florida heat. Icon Park is home to some big names… Madame Tussauds, Sea Life Orlando and the Museum of Illusions! The Sea Life aquarium is one of my top favourites, it really is a wonderful eye opener to see what you can find in the ‘deep blue’ – The 360 tunnel is the ultimate immersive experience to take in everything swimming around you as you stroll through the tunnel. There is always some great events taking place at Sea Life… sometimes you will catch a glimpse of the mermaid’s swimming too!
CRAYOLA ORLANDO …
Do you have a budding artist? The Crayola experince is something unique! With the long list of adventures inside it is sure to impress those colouring fans. Sculpt your own colourful creations, snap your best selfie in the colouring page photobooth! The sensory filled doodle in the dark will bring imaginations to life be sure to share your best doodles on the backlit boards! My favourite part… wrap your own crayon! Personalise and print your own labels!
MEDIEVAL TIMES
My lord and lady, I’m dragging you back to the 11th century for this one, the grand horse back tournament awaits… take your seat and cheer for your knight! A four course menu will keep you satisfied during your evening. Best tip… arrive early for your show time so you can wander through the medieval village. Leave enough time to get in to the gift shop before the show starts so you can be decked out head to toe in your knights colours to witness the jousting and swordmanship!
Pirate Dinner Adventure
Yo Ho Yo Ho, A Pirate’s Life For Me…be prepared to set sail with your deckhands into the world’s largest interactive dinner show where you’ll take on Captain Sebastian The Black. I am certain you will be just in awe at some of the stunts in this show and the pyrotechnics are not to be missed! Also, if singing is your thing then be sure to join in! The shows happen every day so make sure to have this on your to do list!
