Universal Orlando this week revealed the names of the two new hotels that will be located next to its highly anticipated Epic Universe theme park.
Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort, which will be co-owned and operated by Loews Hotels, are expected to open in early 2025.
Both hotels will feature 750 guest rooms, bringing the total number of rooms across Universal’s Orlando property to 10,500.
The design and decor at Stella Nova will be inspired by “distant galaxies, new stars and mysterious black hotels,” Universal said in a news release, while Terra Luna will be inspired by “the massive and diverse planetary elements of the universe.”
Stella Nova will feature a 10,000-square-foot pool, hot tub, kids’ splash pad area, walk-up bar, game room, fitness center, a quick-service restaurant, coffee bar and more.
The hotel’s 315-square-foot standard rooms will sleep four people and come with two queen beds, a flat screen TV, mini-fridge and coffee maker. It will also offer standard rooms with a view of the pool.
The hotel is expected to open in January 2025.
Terra Luna is expected to open February 2025 and feature a zero-entry pool, hot tub, game room, fitness center, rec room and a quick service restaurant.
Each standard room will come with two queen beds, a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge and a coffee maker.
Stella Nova and Terra Luna will be options in Universal’s Prime Value pricing category. On Loews’ website, Stella Nova is listed with a seasonal rate starting at $189 a night.
Guests staying at either hotel will have access to a number of perks, including early theme park admission and complimentary bus transportation to the theme parks and CityWalk.
The official announcement of both hotels comes nearly a month after names and concept art were leaked when the website from hotel partner Loews went live–seemily by accident.
Stella Nova and Terra Luna are expected to open ahead of Epic Universe, which is set to debut sometime in the summer of 2025. Currently under construction near the Orange County Convention Center, the new park will feature four themed lands with attractions and shops, including a Super Nintendo World.
