Gatorland, the “Alligator Capital of the World,” knows how to treat families right. Not only are there animals, shows and educational wildlife programs for everyone, but also customized activities for various age groups and areas of interest, too, all offering a unique, “Real Florida” adventure.

Fun for the whole family are the alligator breeding marsh with observation tower, a wild bird nesting area, nature walk and the world’s largest collection of rare white “leucistic” alligators, plus the park’s Baby Gator Marsh and signature shows such as Gator Jumparoo and Up-close Encounters.

Adventure seekers will enjoy the Screamin’ Gator Zip line with over 1,200 feet of high flying thrills, five intense zip lines, and a massive 150-foot suspension bridge. At heights up to 56 feet, guests will fly at speeds near 30 miles per hour. Zip Line tickets are $69.99 for adults and children and include a full day admission to the park, reservations are required for this very popular attraction.
The Stompin’ Gator Off-Road Adventure takes guests alongside the swamps that feed the headwaters of the Everglades. Each of the three monster-style, off-road vehicles seats 12 riders, plus the driver, and is decorated to represent iconic alligators and crocodiles in Gatorland’s rich history. Gator Joe’s Adventure Outpost, located in front of the Stompin’ Gator Off-Road Adventure, serves as the park’s home base for reserving and purchasing all separately-ticketed park adventures, including the Stompin’ Gator Off-Road Adventure, Screamin’ Gator Zip Line, Adventure Hour, Gator Night Shine, and Trainer For The Day.
Young children love Gatorland’s petting zoo, a free-flight aviary with an opportunity to feed the birds, train ride all around the park, and the Gator Gully Splash Park with sprinklers and water features for those hot days.

Gatorland also offers an array of customized a la carte experiences to choose from, including the After Hours Gator Night Shine taking guests through the sights and sounds of the alligator breeding marsh at night, Trainer For A Day for a glimpse on what it takes to be able to work with alligators and reptiles with a grand finale of working with a Gatorland trainer and Adventure Hour a unique opportunity to feed alligators inside the alligator breeding marsh with rare photo opportunity. The popular Gatorland Photographer’s Pass gives photographers and birding enthusiasts special park access from February through June at 7 a.m. to photograph more than 20 different species of birds as they nest, forage and roost in the Gatorland Bird Rookery which was created in 1991 as an alligator breeding marsh. Many of the birds seen in the area are listed as Endangered Species or Species of Special Concern.
