Are you a connoisseur of scary movies and love Halloween? Fans of spooky entertainment and improv comedy are invited to join in on a new October tradition with SUBJECT TO CHANGE: A HALLOWEEN THEMED IMPROV COMEDY SHOW. For the first time, SUBJECT TO CHANGE is tapping into the spookiest recesses of their minds for a fun, Halloween-themed show guests can experience live at the Gateway Center for the Arts in DeBary, FL.

Zozo’s Fear House at Hotel Cassadaga

Heritage Farms Corn Maze in DeLand
Heritage Farm’s Annual Corn Maze returns on October 1st with the largest Corn Maze in Central Florida. Come on out and enjoy all the extra fun activities on the 100-acre farm, including the pumpkin patch, giant hay fort, corn cannon, round bale racers, duck races, corn hole, corn box, post pounder, and mini hay maze.

“Young Frankenstein” at the Shoestring Theatre
“Young Frankenstein” comes to life on stage at the Shoestring Theatre in Lake Helen. Eco-Halloween Hike at Lyonia Preserve
OUTDOOR: Adults and kids can put on their environmental thinking caps, engage their creativity, and dress in their best eco-themed costumes for a guided hike through Lyonia Preserve. Staff will discuss important environmentalists during a hike to the preserve’s wetland. Participants will receive treats. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.

Halloween Among the Trees at Lyonia Preserve
Parents can bring their little goblins to enjoy a non-spooky, outdoor adventure that includes crafts and encounters with the LEC’s scaly reptile ambassadors. Families will search for creepy, crawling creature tracks along the trails of Lyonia Preserve. Afterward, friendly costumed characters will hand out treats while the group explores the pollinator garden.

Monsters, princesses, and animals of all kinds will dust off their Halloween costumes for the fan-favorite Zoo event, the Zoo Boo Bash, featuring all treats and no tricks, with not-so-scary décor and activities for children of all ages, including trick-or-treating stations around beloved animals.
