Spring has arrived at Gatorland®, and that means it’s time to enjoy the outdoors and plan a visit to The Alligator Capital of the World! March is one of the best times to visit—Florida’s weather is perfect, the animals are extra active, and we’ve got thrills, laughs, and unforgettable animal encounters waiting for visitors.
If you love nature, photography, or just cool animal moments, you’re going to love our Gatorland Bird Rookery this time of year. March is nesting season, which means you’ll see egrets, herons, wood storks, and maybe you’ll even catch sight of some bright pink roseate spoonbills building nests, showing off their colorful feathers, and caring for their hatchlings. It’s like getting a backstage pass to nature’s spring show, and it’s happening right here at Gatorland.
No visit to Gatorland is complete without seeing our famous reptile shows. We’ve got massive alligators leaping, crazy-fun encounters with snakes, and plenty of surprises waiting for you like:
• Gator Jumparoo Show – Ever seen an alligator jump out of the water? You will now!
• Up-Close Encounters – Meet some of the coolest (and maybe a little creepy) reptiles up close.
• Legends of the Swamp – Watch as our brave Gatorland trainers wrestle a giant alligator—yes, it’s real.
Gatorland is home to some of the rarest alligators in the world at the White Gator Swamp —our leucistic white alligators. Unlike albino alligators, these incredible creatures have piercing blue eyes and unique white scales, making them a true wonder to see in person. With fewer than a dozen known in the world, these alligators are one of Gatorland’s most incredible and rare attractions. Don’t miss your chance to get up close and see these prehistoric-looking legends for yourself!
You also won’t want to miss a visit with Jawlene, our famous rescue gator missing her top jaw, whose story went viral all over the world!
Want to take your adventure to the next level? How about soaring high above hundreds of live alligators on one of the best zipline experiences in Florida? The Screamin’ Gator Zipline isn’t just a ride—it’s an adrenaline rush you’ll never forget. You’ll zoom over alligator-infested swamps, feel the wind in your hair, and experience the thrill of flying across the park.
Then, hold on tight for the Stompin’ Gator Off-Road Adventure —this ride is big, bumpy, and completely wild. Climb aboard our monster-truck-style off-road adventure, where you’ll splash through mud, rumble over hills, and maybe even come face-to-face with a few creatures from the swamp! There ain’t another ride like this in the whole world!
With beautiful Florida weather, amazing animals, and nonstop excitement, March is the perfect time to visit Gatorland. Whether you’re here for the laughs, the thrills, or the cutest animals around, there’s something for everyone.
