As we reported a couple of days ago, Universal have officially announce that Epic Universe will open on the 22nd May 2025! We can't wait!

Tickets will be on sale officially from the 22nd October but it may take a week or so for us to load everything onto our website so please bear with us as there a lot of changes to update.

15th October 2024 - LATEST NEWS UPDATE:

Epic Universe could potentially open as early as Memorial Day weekend next year (May 24th - 26th, 2025), according to a report from The Wall Street Journal.

The report indicates that tickets for the eagerly awaited park may be available for purchase as early as this month. Although Epic Universe was first announced in 2019, an official opening date has not yet been set, and Universal has not commented on the report.

When Epic Universe opens, guests may not have immediate access to single-day tickets.

A spokesperson confirmed that ticket sales for the theme park's partners will follow a "phased approach."

Here's the full statement:

"We plan to offer a range of ticket products to help manage the expected demand for Epic Universe and to ensure all guests visiting have a great experience at this groundbreaking park. We are currently speaking exclusively to our sales partners to help them prepare for the sales effort to follow. We are introducing products in a phased approach starting with multi-day ticket packages that include an opportunity to visit Epic Universe in addition to the entire Universal Orlando Resort for those planning vacations further out. Additional ticket options – including multi-day and single-day tickets and ticket add-ons will be made available in additional phases. Details will be shared at a later date."

Essentially, guests can buy a multi-day ticket package that includes admission to Epic Universe and other Universal Orlando Resort attractions. Other ticket options, like single-day tickets and add-ons, will be made available for purchase at a later date.

The addition of Universal Orlando’s fourth theme park will also transform the award-winning resort into a weeklong vacation destination filled with the most compelling experiences imaginable.

When Will Epic Universe Open?

Epic Universe is set to open in 2025, with the exact date yet to be announced. Stay tuned for updates on the opening of this exciting new theme park!

Where Is Universal Epic Universe Located?

Epic Universe will be situated on a sprawling 750-acre site near the Orange County Convention Center, just south of Sand Lake Road and east of Universal Boulevard. It’s approximately a 12-minute drive from the main Universal Orlando Resort. This park will be the largest Universal park in the United States, nearly doubling the total acreage of Universal’s existing properties. Universal has stated that guests will have access to transportation between Epic Universe and the other Universal Orlando destinations.

Currently, Universal Orlando Resort features three parks: Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, and Universal Volcano Bay water theme park. Additionally, it includes Universal CityWalk, a vibrant area for entertainment, shopping, and dining, as well as eight resort hotels. The two newest hotels, known as Universal's Endless Summer Resort, are conveniently located between the main resort and Epic Universe.

When will tickets go on sale and what tickets will be available?

Tickets for Universal Epic Universe are expected to become available closer to the park's opening in 2025. While an exact date hasn’t been announced yet, keep an eye on our website and social media channels for updates.

How will tickets work when Epic Universe first opens? We don't have any final details confirmed but we understand guests must buy a “multi-day Orlando ticket package with a three-day minimum.” These will only allow for one day at Epic Universe and will not include park-hopping to or from the new park. When tickets launch, there will be no option to purchase a stand-alone, single-day ticket to Epic Universe. There will be a phased approach to tickets that will be available to control the expected massive interest in the new park.
