Busch Gardens® is a combination of animal encounters and a superb collection of white-knuckle thrill rides and caters to a whole variety of tastes and age groups. The park officially features 8 roller coasters and 2 water rides amongst other rides and animal attractions.

What’s New At Busch Gardens?

Iron Gwazi – It’s North America’s tallest hybrid coaster and the fastest and steepest hybrid coaster in the world.

This new look coaster takes thrills to new heights, plunging riders from a 206 foot-tall peak into a 91-degree drop and reaching top speeds of 76 miles per hour. Riders on Iron Gwazi will experience a dozen airtime moments, including three inversions, as they sink their teeth into crocodile-inspired thrills.

Adventure Island®:

The fun never sets at Adventure Island® Water Park. Tampa’s Island Paradise has something fun for everyone, whether you are looking for serene or extreme. Grab a two-person raft for Rapids Racer™, the world's first duelling saucer water slide. Or go solo or grab a friend on Aruba Tuba™ as you shoot through the dark at a raging speed. When it’s time to unwind, glide along the rain forests and waterfalls of Rambling Bayou™. Or sink your toes into the soft, warm sand. Plus, there’s a ton of kid-sized adventures including Shaka-Laka Shores. The all-new interactive splash and play zone opens in 2023.

Adventure Island is a seasonal park, operating primarily from late March through mid-October, with limited weekend opening hours outside of that. A second visit to Busch Gardens can be taken only when Adventure Island is closed, with All Day Dine also valid. Please note that waterparks are also subject to weather closures.
