The Kennedy Space Center, Florida, is a 1-hour drive from Orlando, where most tourists will be staying.

The drive to Cape Canaveral is enjoyable, particularly when driving over the sea down NASA Parkway over the NASA Causeway.

Parking at the Kennedy Space Center is paid for as you enter, and no pre-purchase parking options are available. The latest prices can be found on the official visitors center website, but at the time of writing they were:

• Automobiles - $10.00
• Oversized vehicles, motor homes or RVs - $15.00
