1. ‘World Center of Racing’ There are plenty of things to be proud of and fueling the need for speed is an accomplishment Daytona folks don’t mind bragging about. Legends of the sport began racing on local beaches in the early 1900s and they continue racing towards championships today at Daytona International Speedway. Race fans are rejoicing over a $400 million overhaul that created a world-class facility with premium amenities and unparalleled conveniences and experiences. The mecca of motorsports is the world’s first motorsports stadium and is also home to a family-fun attraction, the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America.
