It’s a fact – the Trip Advisor community LOVES Kissimmee Swamp Tours – when we checked it out recently they’ve received 777 Excellent or Very Good reviews out of a possible 781. The people have spoken and it’s all good! For years we’ve been told about about this hidden gem, an hours drive from Orlando offering personalized guided airboat tours for a maximum of 6 people. That’s like having a private tour – where everyone also gets a radio headset so you can hear every word the captain has to say – and guess what he can hear you too to answer your questions!

Warm friendly welcome then an informative and interesting tour. The boat was equipped with communications so we could hear and respond to the commentary, which was both amusing and informative

We loved every single minute of our trip. Starting from the drive from Orlando (only 1hour from Disney) to spending some time at the location of the tour before starting ( they have a pier, Picknick benches etc.). The tour itself was amazing. Being on an airboat feels like flying across the water. The area where the tour takes place is nature at its best, no people, houses, just nature as far as you can see. The lady at reception was so friendly and she explained everything really well. The captain had so much knowledge which he shared with us during the tour, so impressive. All the gear got disinfected after using it. The restrooms where clean. We saw so many alligators, even a nest with babies, lots of different birds, even an American eagle. Definitely it’s money worth. All of us, kids and adults loved it even our 2 year old. So something for all ages. Plus points small boat, so we even got to tour by ourselves. And as am FYI kids got life jackets so all felt very secure. We will definitely come back. Thank you for giving us such a lovely day.

We took the 60 min tour at 0915. Everyone very helpful and friendly right from the booking process to the actual tour. It was great that with a max 6 passengers we had the boat to ourselves and they are the only operators on the whole of Lake Kissimmee. No petting zoo or gimmicks, just nature in its raw state with a very knowledgable and funny captain. The tour started well with close up views of nesting ospreys and was quickly followed by other birds and the obligatory alligators. Having the ear-defenders with two way radio was a big plus. Would definitely recommend the few extra miles from Orlando. (Don’t believe the timing of the sat nav though, trust google maps instead)

The captain of the airboat was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. He gave us a very comprehensive tour. Their price is very reasonable. I would highly recommend this Airboat Swamp Tour. A must do when you are in the Orlando area.
Not bad eh? We’ll keep an eye out for YOUR 5 star review and all we can say at this point is have a great time with Captain Nate and his crew!
